HAVANA PLUM

A boozy gourmand perfume.

While quite a few boozy notes are available to the natural perfumer, the choice of fruity notes is somewhat limited.

The task was to create an olfactory impression of a dark plum note, which is very difficult to achieve without any synthetic ingredients.

In the end I used a complex combination of extremely hard to come by, rare, exotic and very expensive florals that shall remain unrevealed.

All I can say that it took me a couple of years to finally figure this out.
